Freshwater Fish Farming

Our company, established in 2009, focuses primarily on extensive fish farming, prioritizing natural productivity. As a result, natural yield accounts for approximately sixty percent of our output. We derive the protein required for fish rearing predominantly from planktonic organisms, a process supported by the use of organic manure from local cattle farming. We supplement the natural yield—generated by plankton thriving on the nutrients in the cattle manure with concentrate feed. This feed is sourced exclusively from seasonally harvested grains, such as wheat, triticale, barley, and maize. We are fully committed to our mission of promoting the sustainability of fish farming through our ecologically exemplary aquaculture practices.

If we can rely on scientists' estimates, the planet's population is expected to reach ten billion in barely a quarter of a century. To prevent a crisis regarding sustainable, healthy, low-fat, and protein-based nutrition , it is essential to highlight and strengthen the role of aquaculture.

Aquaculture replaces or supplements the harvesting – and often exploitation, given the lack of replenishment - of fish from their natural habitats. Alongside specialized fish farming in marine settings (marine aquaculture or mariculture), the production of live fish in freshwater pond systems and closed-containment facilities has also become significant in recent times.

The impact and unique nature of aquaculture are noteworthy primarily due to its economic and commercial importance. These controlled aquatic farming systems make it possible to significantly reduce both overfishing and the associated unsustainable fishing practices. Furthermore, the protection and preservation of natural resources - such as the maintenance of local groundwater levels - are also prioritized.

In this distinctive system of fish farming and aquaculture, which is subject to strict controls and scientific oversight, fish are reared and cultivated with the aim of achieving marketable size and maximizing potential yields.
